On July 27, 2023, the Marlic laboratory was inaugurated: a reference at regional level.
After years of work within the collaborative platform co-financed by the Region, the Marlic laboratory (Marche applied research laboratory for innovative composites) was inaugurated in Camerino. The result of a project involving 26 partners including universities, research centers and companies, Marlic was built in the facility made available by Rotary District 2090, Rotary Club of Camerino and the Municipality, with the aim of becoming a regional point of reference for the development of new materials, with particular attention to the use of bio materials and the reuse of raw materials.
As reported by engineer Castorani: “Marlic will offer an environment in which researchers and industrial experts can work together by pooling transversal and complementary skills and knowledge, it will be a precious resource for the Marche region and will soon become a national and international reference for sustainable composite materials, helping to strengthen the image of the Region”
