Marlic, research and innovation

The MARLIC team is made up of a pool of young researchers from academic and industrial backgrounds, working across the field of materials. Each of them possesses specific and complementary skills, ranging from the chemical sector to engineering, enabling them to comprehensively address the issues related to product innovation. These skills are put at the service of companies with the intent of guiding them towards sustainable innovation.

Marlic Story

Marche Applied Research Laboratory for Innovative Composites” (acronym: MARLIC) was born as a platform of the Marche Region in the context of “Sustainable manufacturing: eco-sustainability of products and processes for new materials and de-manufacturing”.

The Project, funded by the Marche Region under the POR Marche FESR 2014-2020, included a working group of 27 subjects led by the lead company HP Composites, a world leader in the design and production of advanced composite material components. Together with HP, there were also 20 companies, the Fondazione Cluster Marche and five research centers including the University of Camerino, the Polytechnic University of Marche, the University of Urbino, ENEA and CNR.
